Every year since my niece was born, I’ve gifted her a cartoon on her birthday themed around an interest or theme that she at the time was really into. Up until her 10th birthday, I always made her holding up the number of fingers she was turning in years. It has always been one of the gifts I look most forward to giving, and it became a tradition I began with my own daughter as well.
