Mascot Design
As a designer “slash” illustrator, mascot design is one of those wonderful areas where both my passions meet and hang out together. Below are a selection of brand mascots and characters I’ve been a part of crafting, which have all been a total blast creating.
Padlock Bear
Secure IT Recycling needed a mascot to expand their brand personality. The bear needed to appear confident, yet appealing to children who encounter it through the family outreach program. Padlock Bear, as he became known, needed to be versatile enough to work for multiple occasions and positions, from the Christmas party to sitting down for a delicious hard drive dinner.
Ludo, at Your Service!
This friendly little guy, known as Ludo, was created to play the role of digital concierge for a high-speed fiber internet telecommunication company’s online support portal. Don’t miss his wifi-eyes 😉
Eat Neon
Eat Neon was in need of a mascot to serve as a logo for their concert event series. The party animal transformed in conjunction with the individual events, like the full moon turning him into a werewolf for the halloween bash, or dawning his trunks for a pool party event!
Godzilla Challenge
I was asked to create a mascot & logo for a sushi restaurant’s insane 5+ pound sushi roll challenge. The mascot would appear on merchandise and promo material.
Regimental Rooster
A special cyber task force was looking for a mascot that could be used on a special patch design. A rooster had become the unit’s unspoken mascot and they loved the idea of having a custom rooster mascot created for use on a special patch design.
Brunswick Bulldog
This mascot ties in a youth girls soccer club’s team name, The Bulldogs, with the city/high school’s moniker, The Blue Devils.
